BarruFresh brings Seriola to Tarragona’s gastronomic scene

March kicked off with a unique experience of taste and freshness.

BarruFresh travelled to the province of Tarragona to attend, for the first time, the 3rd edition of TurisMarket, the leading trade fair for tourism and hospitality professionals in the region. With more than 60 talks, demonstrations and activities, the event became an essential meeting point, bringing together the most complete offer in the sector, featuring suppliers and experts presenting the latest innovations for tourism and gastronomy, industries in continuous growth.

The event took place on the 2nd and 3rd of March in FiraReus Events, gathering around 6,900 professionals from hotels, campsites, apartments, restaurants and catering companies, from the Costa Dorada, Terres de l’Ebre and other areas of the region.

Frigorífics Ferrer, with whom the company maintains a strong and ongoing commercial relationship, gave us the opportunity, together with our partner The Kingfish Company, to showcase Hiramasa (Seriola lalandi) and offer tastings to all attendees who visited the stand. A chef prepared a variety of delicious creations live on site, transforming the space into a highly dynamic area. It was an excellent setting to highlight the quality, freshness and versatility of the product, as well as to connect with industry professionals and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
